Eva Slawecki is a leader in the global health community in Canada. She is currently Executive Director of the Canadian Association for Global Health and has 15 years of experience in global health and international development focused on health systems strengthening and institutional capacity-building. Eva holds a Master’s Degree in Health Administration and has expertise in evidence-based medicine and information systems in post-Soviet countries in transition. Eva works extensively in designing, implementing, and monitoring projects for national and international funding agencies. She provides oversight on the Canadian HCV and HIV Knowledge to Action Program; the annual Canadian Conference on Global Health; technical assistance programs in Mongolia; and women’s, children’s, and adolescent health projects in Tanzania. In addition, she has experience with projects in primary health care, medical education, health information systems, and communicable and non-communicable diseases in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Croatia, Ukraine, Tanzania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan.
